For 2009, my "major" drive was along Route 66, September 5-19.  I also had a Thanksgiving weekend getaway to Tennessee and Alabama, complete with a few Route 66 stops in Illinois.  Pictures of both trips are now ready...ENJOY!


** ROUTE 66 STORY **

In the midst of preparing my Route 66 pictures, I started writing a story about Route 66, which, for whatever reason, has been VERY easy to write.  It is not complete, but I'm not quite sure to where it will lead.  If you wish to follow it (some of you have already read the first portions), you can read it on Jim Hinckley's website:
