Innovative, wacky and unusal cars - Tampa Bay Auto Musuem

I managed to get a visit down to the Tampa Bay Automobile Museum - what a wonderful place! All sorts of unique and unusual cars. All owned by one man and he only puts in cars that are technologically interesting. A lot of them are very rare. If I ever get down there, I will make a point of it. I see a few of our previous puzzles in there, too.  :)

Had fun visiting there last summer. Unfortunately their Delahaye was out getting painted so I didn't get to see it.

Highlight of the visit: The owner tried driving a not-fully-restored car (a '70s NSU, as I recall) out of the museum, and accidentally hit one of the museum's other cars with it! (No damage to the other car, but a few bits of rusty metal fell off the NSU.)

I've always loved the looks of the Woodlight headlamps. Does their design follow their function or are they more ornamental?

BTW, you all may already know this, but that's not the actual Cugnot tractor, but a replica (dating from the 1930s, I believe).

Yes its a replica. Condition is not bad at all if its from the 30s.

Seems like a early attempt at "aero", before the laws of aerodynamics were fully understood... or, I should say, before computers were built which could "understand" the principles of aerodynamics.
