Some mystery cars
« on: July 10, 2008, 01:46:15 PM »
I don't know the answer to these but let's see if any of our members do.

I visited Reynolds Alberta museum -  an automotive, farming machinery and aero museum located in Wetaskiwin, Alberta, Canada. Specialized in vehicles important to Canada. Any way in there field area they have the remains of many vehicles. Any ideas?

here is the whole set of pictures if interested as well - http://flickr.com/photos/daveseven/sets/72157605288649274/

The last one (the fire brigade truck) looks very similar to the 1928 Buddy Stewart lorry in the museum pictures.

Picture #3 looks like a mid to late 1920's Buick fitted with an external shround to stop the radiator freezing in cold weather.

The Flickr photo set identifies pic #1 as a '29 or '30 Chevy. Do you have reason to believe otherwise?

Could be a 1929-ish Franklin (large fan suggests air-cooled engine and wooden spoke wheels are similar) :-\
