Now, Limo gave us a nice trail to follow...who can solve this mistery? Limo, can you share your source or report the article?

Okay, Sorry Jaray and Allemano, you guys are completely right. As i said, i wrote an article about the mystery of this car and as soon as this puzzle was solved, i wanted to check if this was really an Abarth. I shouldn't have posted the event, but didn't realise it was a serious part of the puzzle. I thought we were all interested in the origins of cars, not the context of a specific picture. Sorry for that.
BTW: Before this puzzle I didn't even know google images existed...

@Paul Jaray: I found the car in a 1966 french car magazine, i think it was called "L'autojournal".
Three cars were running through the streets of Liechtenstein.
The dashboard looks very Lombardi Grand-Prix...

Hmmm, so even writing the Heading as you did and making the rules of this puzzle 100% clear it still didn't do the trick PJ...

There's begginning to be a serious case for asking the Puzzle Solver always to declare how it was solved, perhaps by PM...

I'm finding far too many of my puzzles being solved in minutes..

Not my problem.
I set the game, the players choose how they prefer to play it.
I believe Limo was sincere when He said it was the 1st time and I'm sure He realizes that there's no fun this way.
...but I believe you're right, asking how they did found a forgotten webpage without any clue will spot the cheaters.

Did Limo say that he used Google Search or that he used the wrong trick? Theoretically he could use the image search of google. I believe there is a difference?

Well I initially read it that he just Googled (as we all do..) in which case there's nothing to apologise for but then since he apologised later I assumed he meant he actually used Google Image Serach!

I did not even solve the identity of the car... Allemano did, so he earns the point. Problem solved.
I was looking for the event Jaray was talking about with the help of images, but it had nothing to do with the initial puzzle, because it was already solved by Allemano.

Sorry roger,I overlooked your question....but I don't know a single line more than what I wrote.

1 point goes to Allemano who found out the name given to this car by the 2 students.
1 point will go to Limo once the mistery will be finally solved because he found the Liechtenstein trail.

Now this is a hard decision - you have found the same magazine clipping as me obviously.

The problem I have is that I think "Limande" is more a general description of the design rather than a name.

The car is from Liechtenstein, where they speak German.

French "Limande" = English "dab / flounder" = German "Flunder"

Only I doubt the name was "Flunder" - this is a common name for every low sitting sports car.

However, this is not pro level, so I give the point as you have found the car.

Still we need a prooved name for this one, so I will promote this puzzle.
