Edgardosomoza

FIAT 770/800 Vignale 1967/70 from Argentina

Oguerrerob

Yes, Fiat 770/800 but 1966.
Locked for you for model name and manufacturer

Edgardosomoza

The car production started in FIAT Concord in 1967 as 770 Coupe and shifted to 800 Coupe in 1968. The body was designed by Vignale and a Spider version existed.
Production ended in early 1970.

Edgardosomoza

Sorry. Production started in 1966.

Oguerrerob

Only missing the name of the company manufacturer. Still locked

Edgardosomoza

The company was FIAT Concord, a subsidiary of FIAT SPA of Italy that was located in the province of Cordoba in the centre of Argentina.

Oguerrerob

Well, Good enough.

Fiat SOMECA Concord S.A.C.I or simply Fiat Concord

Edgardosomoza

FIAT SOMECA was the name of the tractors plant, FIAT Materfer was the name of the rolling stock factory, FIAT GMD was the mane os the marine engines factory and FIAT Concord was the name of the holding and the car factory.

Oguerrerob

You must know better than me. I'll change the title

Edgardosomoza

I am the owner of one of the few renaining examples of FIAT 800 Coupe Vignale, which is in process of restoration. This model had not an equivalent in the Italian FIAT catalog because tha argentina branch of the company purchased the design directly to Vignale. Obviously the base was the ubicuous FIAT 600, but the 800 was notably heavier becase of the great amount of lead used in the body.

This puzzle fitted perfect for you.  (Como anillo al dedo, como se dice en espaƱol)

Edgardosomoza

Sorry for my terrible english. My scottish grandfather would be very upset for this.
Corrections:
The Argentine branch   -   Purchased ..... directly from Vignale.
