Otherwise I know only about a model name of  the late Bianchi-range: "Ambrosiano"

I am here not so much for a point, but as a researcher of obscure coachbuilders.
As I said in a previous post I found a very nice picture of the Sforzesco bus and lorry the day they were
presented to the press.
On the front of both there is a script that could be the name of the coachbuilder.
Unfortunately is not perfectly legible but is probably 5 or 6 letters long and one of the letters could be a b,
a d or an l.
Can you confirm?

I don't know, all of my books are in storage until August - sorry

It is not Amadei

It is 7 letters long, starts with Am and there is another a and an l in there.

als15 reference was published here as "The Encyclopaedia of Italian Coachbuilders". You'll find the link easily.

It is listed in the book with wrong time frame.

"Wrong time frame" : it should be Amolari, Varese, Viale Tamagno

That was a really hard nut. I'm surprised that such an interesting bus can be found on one place online, but with a wrong identification.
Thank you very much !  :)

Well, it seems that Macchi is a wrong identification.  ::)

A comment by Valter Poggi, member of the Facebook group "Autobus d'epoca, che passione!!!"

> the CABI Cattaneo project was sold to Bianchi / Autobianche and will become the Sforzesco but the bodywork was Macchi ....
