car 6 (Bulla ) was built by Gottfried Vollmer from Essen-Werden in 1948 and raced from 1948 to 195, from september 1950 to July 1952 it was raced by Hans Weiland from Oberhausen (see arms on the car) . From July 1952 to 1954 Bulla from Essen raced the car before it was sold to the GDR and entered by BSG Motor Treptow for Kurt Schulze

The car (#44) was raced by Karl Heinz Vagt in the Hamburger Stadtparkrennen 1949 in the 1100cc class.. The car was based on the Kdf -Wagen/Volkswagen. Vagt used it as a roadcar as well and offered the car for sale in 1950.

The car is the so called FWB Nachwuchs built by F.Weber from Berlin. First raced at Interzonen Rennen, Berlin the by motorcycle specialist Bernhard Petruschke. The picture is from Sachsenring 1953 driven by Franz Höftmann. Of coures you can call it a Volkswagen Eigenbau or special.
