Djetset #640
« on: April 15, 2013, 05:09:00 PM »
I think this is a difficult one, so straight up to the Pros (though everyone can try and name this car).

This was a real, serious new car proposal, so name the maker for a point please.

We may have broken an AutoPuzzles record here, as in the past six months this car has only received 80 views and not one single reply, ever, so into the Black Hole it goes...

Thank you for getting this one started Wendex.  Yes, it is by a British maker.

One usually not known for four-door saloons?

Not a Bristol, and post-1980.

It seems to be an early or mid 80s 1:5 or even 1:1 mock-up.

And the roof lines look like a Sierra´s or Scorpio´s one  - is there any relation to Ford?

But it doesn´t really look professional enough for a big company, to be honest...

It is a small-scale mock-up, and not from a mainstream manufacturer.  I'm not aware of any relationship to Ford.
