I remember reading years ago that Toyota held some kind of design contest among its employees where they would come up with crazy ideas and build mock-ups. I guess this could come from one of those contests? late 80s or early 90s?

Sorry, I have to ask: Did this image come from somewhere on the internet? Or is it a scan/image that you own on your computer? I have searched high and low for it the last couple of days, and while I have been able to find images of many other vehicles from these design contests ("Idea Olympics", as they were apparently called), I have not been able to locate this specific vehicle. If you tell me it's somewhere out there on the web, I will keep trying, but otherwise I think I must give up. I know I recognize this photograph and I must have seen it in a print magazine years ago, but unless it's on the internet I have zero chance of finding it now. Thanks.
