Correct, point for luisps. It was presented as a prototype in 2008 but the first units were in fact delivered in 2009. The Futi microcar is the first electric car to be developed in Portugal and is built in the outskirts of Maceira, in the district of Leiria near the central coast of the country. It weighs 400 kg and has a 14kW electric motor. A roofless version also exists.
