Harris RH5, a one off F5000 car built by Ray Harris in 1970 and driven in period by Brian Tarrant. I think it's Tarrant who's standing by the car.

Well solved, and another point to your total. I'd forgotten all about this car before I found it whilst looking for somethig else. The photo is taken at Thruxton but i thought it looked very "American" and might confuse people. Some hopes.

Tbh I knew I'd seen the photo somewhere else recently so it was just a case of remembering where that was then looking round the website a bit...

If it wasn't for that I'd have assumed US/Canada as well. :)

I had seen the photo new it was Thruxton but couldn't find it, from memory Brian Tarrant was killed there racing a v8 engined Austin A40
