Sorry kwgibbs! Hiawatha got there first. It is indeed the Einsa MM-1A Mk2 Falcata, a military vehicle made for the Spanish Armed Forces and designed to be airdropped from helicopters. Falcata is a type of sword typical of the pre-Roman Iberian Peninsula.
