Hey! Nice puzzle. The car had no name (it is referred to as the 'single-eyed' sometimes, but was never called so officially). It looks to have been inspired by ZIS 112 design.
It is a self-built Pobeda based sportscar from 1956 built at 7th taxi station in Moscow. The creator was Alexander Shaterkin - a taxi driver. He raced it for two seasons before handing it to his taxi station (and racing) colleague Zakhar Steingrud, whose son I have a privilege to know quite well (he competes in a current local classic series from this year at the wheel of a modified Lada 2101). The car's first outing AFAIK was a 1956 Moscow-Minsk-Moscow race, which it won in sportscars category. From what I know it was used until 1964, when it was apparently cut in parts. There is some controversy about its history, though, as Steingrud's son insists no one raced the car after his father, although the entry lists give another information (giving at least 3 more names).
