As I saw the püzzle car first, I thought same as you. It's typical Touring-style, but my source mentions another coachbuillder.
If you ask me about sureness of any informations I've ever got from any sources, I do my best about research. In this case, it's not a 100% reliable source, but that's why we play AutoPuzzles, isn't it?

the book "Carrozzeria Touring" by Anderloni shows a convertible with exact the same grilles, fender, wheels  etc., only the front window is divided. In Your picture it looks like that someone 'blurred' the window a bit.

Please have a closer look to Your source(s) and my earlier replies.

Dear 'hermanoto',
sorry for long delay. It took me a some time to check, if my source -a magazine article about the 'Carrozzeria Barbi'- is right or not. I've found another picture of the puzzle car of far better quality in an Touring-book, showing definitely the Touring-emblem on the engine hood. Furthermore, there is no Barbi-bodied 6C 2500 listed in the 'AR 6C 2500'-book.
So, I think, a mistake happened by the contributor of the magazine-article, designating the puzzle car wearing 'Barbi-bodywork'.

Of course, the point is yours!

P.S. There are some visible differences to the Touring-model in your photo on the rear of the puzzle car. Behind the door. The puzzle car wears definitely a longer wheelbase. Maybe 'Barbi' did these modifications.
Notes with a proof, as to whether 'Carrozzeria Barbi' was involved in this Alfa-bodywork are accepted with joy

I'm sorry, but the portion behind the door matches with other Touring-bodied 6C 2500 Alfas. Also, Barbi was focused exclusively on commercial vehicles by this time. I think it was likely just an error on the part of your source.

I know 'Alfa people' who will probably identify this particular car by chassis number, so I'll check with them and report back.
