The original frame was completed on November 13th, 1961 by Volvo and left the factory on January 18th, 1962. The rolling chassis was delivered to the local Volvo dealer Haralds son in Osby. He had received an order from Osby's works regarding a flatbed truck that suited their business. The Volvo dealer put out the job on Gladsax that extended the frame and mounted a cab with bench for three people. On March 28th, 1962, the pickup was registered at Osby Köping, the Televerket, with 2-way radio. During his time at the plant, the car was always garage line due. Of the equipment that was always on the platform. On the platform there was also a device for mounting a lamp mast. Sometime in the 60 century, the gearbox plummeted and when the assembly of a new one took the replacement of the B 16 engine to a Perkins diesel engine. To start the engine, the car was equipped with two 6-volt batteries. Another 6-volt battery was used for the rest of the electrical system. At this time the car was driven mostly by fitter Einar Svensson.
When the vehicle inspection was introduced, the car did not go through. The flatbed car was, according to them, too heavy with its diesel engine and cabin for three people. The works then threw out the sofa and mounted two separate chairs instead. In addition, the diesel tank was only filled with 3 litres of diesel. With these changes the car went through. The car had a systerbil at Osby Waterworks, but with a normal cab. 1972 was sold trotjänaren in favor of a Hanomag Diesel and at the same crank got the car back a B 16 a engine. Ros Anders Junkyard in Hjärsås drove the car to-76 when Bertil Björk in Kristianstad bought it. Bertil never drove it and-89 it was sold in boxes to Frank Soukup in Hamburg. He started a renovation and then sold it to Sven Wahl.
The car was completed 2005 and yet another delivery chassis traffic the roads after 30 years of stagnant. On the roof is visible the air discharge that enables the flow through the cab. Note the recess on the sofa to access the handbrake. Congratulations on a fantastic renovation!
