It is a Lloyd and 400 is part of its name. Still 2 letters missing. The time span you named is valid for the whole range, but you must have a closer look to find more specific dates. Locked for you.

Lloyd LP 400 is correct, but the visible door hinges disappeared at the end of 1954. There is another specific detail I am after.

That holds true for the 1954 cars as well, but you are onto something anyhow.

for only 2 months the (inner) bodies were build in wood covered with another material. From march '53 onwards the doors and wings were made in steel. In 1954 also the hood & trunk were made in steel.
I think You are after the earliest production model: jan-febr. 1953.

Bad luck, because it obviously has steel doors and fenders, so sichel is right and gains the point.
