A matter of taste.

For one point, please respond and identify car and builder.

inspired by a drawing of Pierre Tissier. He made a proposal for a landau-coupe with 4 front wheels

May be, may be not. My source doesn't mention a Tissier connection.

Yes, I have slight difficulties to understand the accompanying text. Is the discussion about the car being a cabriolet or rather a faux-cabriolet (rigid roof with cabriolet looks)? Or were the editors initially thinking that the picture might be a fake? Perhaps a native French speaker might clear it up.

When Henri Dauriat sent this magazine a single picture of his car, the editors thought it could be a fake. Ten days later the editors received other photos which proved the car was real. However, the car is still a bit of of a "fake" as it is a "faux-cabriolet".

Thanks, that is just about what I thought to have understood.  :)
