It is a VW Type 3 conversion, but not made in Australia

This VW 1600 Variant was converted into an open car with 2 longitudinal seats for passenger transport. The manufacturer was Skandinavisk Motor Co. A/S in Biler, Denmark, a large Volkswagen dealer that still exists today.

Yes, it is! Only one small correction: Skandinavisk Motor Co. A/S-Biler (SMC-Biler) is located in Odense, Denmark. 'Biler' is the Danish word for 'cars'.
The car's used to transport the company's customers....
