The first Attila sports car was produced in the early 1960s by Weybridge Engineering Works, located in Walton on Thames, Surrey. Constructed by Mark Perry, on drawings by Valérian Dare Bryan. Roy Pierpoint provides funding the project.
A first chassis was fitted with a Coventry Climax 1960 ccm FPF hybrid engine. The wheels and the steering rack are original Lotus (XV).
