1948 'Sabre 60' built by retired Lieutenant Colonel Paul Jones using various junkyard-sourced components--1936 Willys Overland frame, 1939 Ford Flathead V8, 1938 Terraplane front suspension, 1948 Crosley brakes, 1941 Studebaker dashboard, etc.

That's right, Sabre 60 is what I was looking for, although its full name according to a well-known site which featured the car is "Sabre 60 Junkyard Mongrel".  It also has two 1941 Studebaker hoods, one covering the engine and the other fitted the other way round and providing a trunk.
It's actually a repost from many years ago, but there was very little information in that puzzle apart from the name of the builder.
I'll have to merge the puzzles and change the original title.
Well done.
