It's not that short, it seems to be the angle of the photo. I believe it's the original Pontiac Fiero windshield. And yes it's a Coupe. It has GT letters in the rear side Windows (which are not in the name of the car)

Grand Ams have been powered by various engines. Is the puzzle car powered by a 3.0 LN7 V6 ?

I think you'd rather focus on the Fiero (the answer is there), the Grand Am engine was mentioned once in just one source.

This car was built by Orville Idema of Bakersfield, CA, who has done similar treatments to other Fieros. I have only seen him refer to these cars as "choptops," so I am not sure if you're looking for a name other than that.
