I don't know too much about it. How about you?

For one point, please respond and identify this car.

Is it based on a Chevrolet AK truck?

I didn't have the possibility to find out the base, but the only parts I recognized coming from another car weren't Chevy ones.

I have seen it at a veteran car meeting in my home town. It is probably a one-off. I have no idea where it was built.

Finding the classic car meeting was not a problem. Now finding the builder - that will be a challenge :)

Perhaps a Mr Bohle

That's what it said on the car, although I rather think that it rather is a replica or "tribute car". Have a try on what it may be based on (at least what I suspect after having a look at the dashboard). Locked for three guesses.

There was no picture of the dashboard where I found the two pictures. I don't even have the slightest idea. Mercedes?

The builder was probably trying to replicate this - a Maserati 8CTF which raced at the Indy 500 as a Boyle Special.

(I'm not suggesting that this car is Maserati-based. Just an observation for the choice of name.)
I must be right - that's what it says on Wikipedia

I think so, too.

The dashboard came from a manufacturer not connected with trucks.
