Yes, the coachbuilder was Etzel&Sohn from Aschaffenburg. Not Ford-based. Locked for 3 more tries

Etzel showed a Dodge-engined bus at the 1950 Frankfurt spring fair. This puzzle bus looks a bit younger, but is it still powered by a Dodge gasoline engine?

The 1950 bus had a chassis built by Etzel themselves. So this one seems to have a different one. Was it an American chassis?
