The Hahn Motor Company of Hamburg, Pennsylvania built fire apparatus, and used this ornate style grille for a number of years in the late 1930s & early 1940s.

Fire buffs today call that style of front end the "butterfly grille", although Hahn never used that description themselves. Also, many of our readers may know that "Hahn" is the German word for "rooster", and one can be seen in the center of the hood ornament on the puzzle vehicle.
