A racing star, at least at the radiator :).

For one point, please respond and identify this car.

is it a modified/rebodied production car like a Delahaye?

Wendax

I don't know, as I have just the name of the car, of the driver and the venue. I wasn't able to find out more about the car.

tobytwirl

Is it in Eastern Europe?

That front suspension looks very Talbot-Lago. Is it the Talbot-Plate?

Wendax

As I said before, I just have a name (and it is none of the known ones). The radiator star wasn't put there by me.

tobytwirl

Is it on the internet somewhere?

Wendax

It still was a few days ago, but I can't find it right now.

tobytwirl

Do we know that it is post war?

Wendax

Yes, at least the photo was taken after the war.

tobytwirl

Is the venue a circuit or a hillclimb?

Wendax

If I recall it right, it was a circuit.

tobytwirl

A reasonably well known one like Pau?

Wendax

Now I found my source again. It was on a well-known circuit, but not Pau.

Circuit des Remparts?

tobytwirl

Is it an FS, a Chaucy or a Georget? ( I've never heard of any of them but they raced in 1948)
