Asahi Kasei is a Japanese chemicals and construction materials company, which developed this concept electric car jointly with GLM Co. as a showcase of their synthetic materials for the automotive industry. It was presented in 2017. According to promotional materials, the name AKXY is "a combination of Asahi Kasei [AK] multiplied [X] by You [Y]".

Thank you for the point.  When you posted this car, I thought it looked familiar.  I was looking through my puzzle queue last night and saw pictures of the AKXY.  So I have a point and one fewer cars in the queue.  :)
