So if not Ford or GM is it Chrysler-based?
The reason I asked if it was Ford first is that those wheels are the same as worn by the Ford Mach 2 concept car, so that leads me to believe maybe it wasn't built by one of the Big Three?

Those wheels are borrowed from a Mach 2 yes, but it was neither Ford, GM or Chysler based. But the designers of this car did try working with some brand to help make it. I cant say wether they did or didn’t help. But there is a relation to one.

Hint: Think Big 4  ;)

So it's AMC related?
From the mid to late 1960s?

Got it!
It's the 1968 Marbon Formacar with an AMC 290 cu in V8.
It was made in Cycolac plastic by Marbon Chemicals, a subsidiary of Borg-Warner, as a way of publicising their new plastic for use in the automobile industry.
