I don't know what the mechanicals of this truck were but whose was it and what was its purpose, for 1 point?:

It was a truck to transport Vespas, owned by Douglas in the UK. Built in 1955.
Not sure about this, but some sources say it is based on a Dennis chassis.

Yes, that's it.
Douglas of Bristol built Vespas under licence in the UK from 1951-1965 and this is their coachbuilt delivery truck; I couldn't find out what chassis it was one but it could have been a Dennis.
