You're pretty close with the year of manufacture
I've since learned that the vehicle was exhibited in May of 1924, so it seems this is more likely the year of manufacturer.
above all I'm missing the type designation
Unfortunately, the single source I've managed to find describes it only as a 12-seater Alpenpostwagen on a Martini chassis with body by Ramseier, Streun & Cie. By '"type designation," are you referring to the tonnage rating? If so, 1.5 T?
-
My source gives the year of construction as 1923, but you can leave five straight.
The deliberate type designation consists of three letters and the name ‘Car Alpin’. My source also gives the chassis number, which seems to be based on facts. However, I have not found it anywhere else.
So there's the point for you and if someone adds the complete type designation, there's another point.
