Yes it is a DKW. Now the only question is whether it's an F12 or a Junior? Locked for hermanoto.

as there is no chrome strip on the side (Junior deLuxe 800) it must be a Junior 750

I saw the DKW with exact the same back lights on a prospect of the IAA Motorshow from 1957. It is mentioned as a DKW 600, running with a 2 cylinder 660cc engine. It is a prototype for the Junior from 1957

I think the title is wrong, it should read DKW 600. The Junior name was given to it with the beginning of the series production in 1959.
