Very lovely car. The G11 is the late small-engined brother version of the 4.7-litre V8-G10 with same fibreglass-bodywork. Not only engine, gearbox and rear axle are of MGB origins, also the steel doors and front windshield

To be fair I would have given shamrock a point as well, because he was first to identify the car correctly.  Since all Ginetta G11s were MGB-powered variants of the Ford 289 engined Ginetta G10 it was just a matter of filling in the details, whilst mekubb didn't actually know what make of car it was in his original reply...

Fully agree with Carnut to give Shamrock a point as well. When asking if it was MG-based, I had a couple of British small brands already in mind by the way...
