I suspect that this car wasn't homebuilt in the sense the word is usually used (even though it says so in the article above). Terry Sjøøsten founded the coachbuilder Lillehammer karosserifabrikk with his two brothers in 1947. It sounds strange to me that he would build this car at home in his spare time when he co-owned a business specialized on building car bodies, but I don't know for sure.
