Small hint: The Formel Vee McNamaras are easy to identify, because of their chromed front suspension! Kaimann-manufacturer Kurt Bergmann was a very good friend of mine. He lived only 20 minutes from my home. We spent half a life time together. Sadly, he lost his life some months ago

Kurt Bergmann was the man, who discovered the racing-talent of the very young and not really race-proofed Niki Lauda. He was the first, to give him the chance, driving a monoposto! Niki felt very grateful about that. They followed a everlasting friendship until Lauda's death
