Of course it could be that the Clément tricycle was sold elsewhere with another name, but fact is that the tricycle puzzle picture is identical to the uploaded Clément picture from an 1899-1900 catalogue of L'Intermédiaire, a well-known general car and accessory dealer in Paris.

carro, as you rightly write, this vehicle was distributed under different names. All were licensed constructions of a very well-known manufacturer.
This obviously also included a product from Clément and the puzzle specimen from another manufacturer.

As far as I know Clément built tricycles of its own design (of course with De Dion engine), so I do not fully understand what you mean. I hope somebody will come up with the answer, as I'm very curious about the solution. However I will pass.
