The engine should still be easy to recognise, but which team rode this sidecar-racer? What were their greatest successes? What has set it apart from its competitors in recent years? All this informations for a whole point.

6 x champion in Germany


By the way, I am no racing bike specialist at all. Around 1970 I bought a very detailed Protar kit of this bike. So, iut was easy to recognise.

the successors were racers build & tuned by priviteers, no official BMW Racers anymore

I think you've earned your point. What I actually meant was that Max Deubel was the last internationally successful sidecar driver sat on the motorbike and did not kneel in it. He has fought long and successfully against the kneelers of Fath, Camathias, Scheidegger and others.
