An elegant vehicle for appropriate guests.
To give you a point I just want to know who built the chassis, what type was the chassis, who was the coachbuilder, who designed it, who was the client and when did this take place.

Do experts have ideas for this extravagant design?

Highly unlikely that I will get much further than this, so perhaps others will pick up the baton ;D.

It'a Büssing designed by Ernst Neumann and built in 1914 on what appears to be a Type II chassis. I have found a picture which describes the vehicle as a "Kleinomnibus", but my guess is that it was intended for Postbus service(?).......

FrontMan, you have identified the important factors correctly, so it's locked for you to find coachbuilder and who was the client.

....another victory, snatched from the jaws of defeat :).

Built in 1914 for Duke Albrecht zu Mecklenburg, by Schebera of Berlin-Tempelhof. I wonder what the Duke said when he first saw it?.... :faint:

I would also like to know how the count ruled, but N2 is well known for its extravagant designs...

Thanks for the point  I suppose this design, ugly as it is, was fairly "avant garde" in 1914. Was the Duke an investor in the Büssing company?

It looks like "Cubism", but I am a complete layman in art history. Pretence of maximum expertise, in the case of absolute cluelessness. No idea about the business partners of Büssing. Books on the history of Büssing and Saurer are available on my wish list for my birthday or Christmas.
