It seems to be based on a 1930s six-cylinder MG, but I can't say I've seen anything about the car. A number of those MGs went to Germany, so is that where we are?

I think it's the Veuillet MG K3 Special you set us ten years ago which looked like this:

In his Profile of the MG K3 Wilson McComb doesn't tell us much about the period after it raced and retired at Lyon in 1947 and before it was brought back to the UK. I'd guess the brothers in the photo were its owners in that period.
