Bought post-war as an unused bare chassis, then shortened and lowered and bodied c1950 by Dottridge Bros who specialised in caskets and hearse conversions; this was the only time, I think, that they catered for the quick rather than the dead, but a nice looking job, a bit too Pebble Beach for some tastes but far preferable to the usual Vanden Plas-style Le Mans replica.
