Nice that you identified the typewriter, but that was not part of the accessory delivered by the car manufacturer. You had to buy the typewriter yourself.

DKW 3=6 ('55 - '59) or AU 1000 ('59) with Telefunken car radio.
Edit: I also would have named the typewriter first. It comes from Keller und Knappich, Augsburg (KUKA) and could, if the worst came to the worst, be disposed of with a KUKA superstructure. They also manufactured superstructures for refuse collection vehicles.

Due to the reflection in the side window, it is not particularly easy to see.
It looks like a cushion in the same colour as the seat cover. I can't believe it's supposed to be a pad for operating a typewriter. From the passenger seat you can't really reach the machine and from the driver's seat you twist your spine.
My idea: an extension of the seat as a lower leg rest in the reclining position.

Yes, it is the DKW Auto-Sekretär fitted in a Großer DKW 3=6 Spezial-Limousine. Only 5 of these Auto-Sekretär devices were sold. According to the brochure it was produced by a company called RORO.
