Kirloskar is the right connection. But I am still missing the country of manufacture of the puzzle bus, the year of manufacture and the Neoplan type on which the vehicle is based. Locked for you.

The article I 've found says, that the two prototypes were built in Stuttgart, Germany.
'pnegyesi' asked July 10 2022 for the year of manufacture '1981?'. You've answered with 'Yes'. So, I think the year of manufacture will be 1981.
For the Neoplan type, I know nothing, but guess 'N 412 P'?

You have got it. It is a Neoplan N 412 F, two prototypes built for Kirloskar, India, in 1980/81. Kirloskar was interested in building it under licence, but I have no detailed information about what actually happened to this project. There is information on the internet about an N 412 H that was used in India in the early 1990s on the Mumbai-Goa line. This is probably a further development of this project.
