it is from Austria, and may have originated as a Braun but according to the article it was rebuilt

As Fёdor already wrote, this was originally a (8HP?) Braun automobile.

A certain Mr. August Kaiser from Waidhofen an der Thaya has modified/modernized it
and the car (nicknamed "Auterl") was featured in a 1912 Austrian car magazine.
