The Al-Dhabi is apparently powered by a Renault engine, so there's a Renault connection indeed, but is there any evidence that this vehicle has ever been badged as a Renault Gazelle ?

All I could find were questionable web pages with photos of an Al-Dhabi vehicle described as a Renault Gazelle, but nothing from reliable sources.

I do recall seeing the Gazelle as one of Renault’s industrial/commercial products in one of the old ‘Atlas’ pocket guide booklets from around ten years ago that the Renault-Nissan Alliance used to publish each year.

I don’t have a copy immediately to hand to scan in at the moment, but in the current extraordinary and challenging times we are all living through, depending if and how long I might need to self-isolate and respect any lockdown rulings (which have yet to be implemented in England, though likely to happen soon-ish!) I may climb up into my loft at home to see if I can find a copy for evidence.

This might take quite some time though as I have many more pressing things and projects to sort out first to keep busy and make a living. I hope all fellow Puzzlers stay healthy and safe in these tough times.
