Yes, that is the obvious part. But this car is different than the usual Cabriolet. Locked for you to find the details.

I am confused because the rear fenders match those of the later (1965 onwards) Cabriolets  but I cannot see the chrome trim on the lower part of the body. So I give up, please unlock.

I have to admit that I mislead you by mistake. This Citroen was not bodied by Chapron.

You are absolutely right. An in-house attempt for a Citroen DS Cabriolet.

I was confused because my source (a brand new book about the big Citroens) erroneously said that it was a mule for the SM made by Chausson. I should have checked my other books.  :(

My understanding is that Citroen wanted to experiment with more power + FWD and the S chassis was the precursor of the SM.
