I have a lovely Japanese book which gives them the brand name Teruyan (I translated the brand name to English myself)
The site of one of our well-known puzzlers does call the car Sanko Teruyan.

In the Japanese language there is no difference between l and r. So it can be both :) But I amend the heading - thanks
