The number plate light plinth is a Daimler item, so is it based on a Daimler 2.5 / 250 ?

This guy has built a very weird cars, I think this is one of his normal cars. About the jags, I've seen a few, rare but not outrageous

One of the bands he was in (playing guitar), used to played as a cover band in UK at 1990's.  And yes, they have records. He died 2017

Thanks for the extra pictures.

I just noticed that the car has a Daimler grille, so perhaps mechanically it's based around a Daimler V8, rather than a Jaguar MK2, although they both shared the same bodyshell of course.
