Yes it is. That's all I asked, so the point is yours (I guess you knew where you'd seen it before!).

It's a factory design, but nobody seems to know why - the photo was taken at practice for the 1959 Coupe de Vitesse at Rheims, which was a very fast circuit, so surely a fully-enclosed body would have been better? The driver on that occasion was "Wal Ever", the pseudonym of Walter Breveglieri)

I don't think I've seen it pictured before.

There was discussion about it on another well-known forum which is a haven for nostalgic enthusiasts. No links allowed here, but think Doug Nye and Co..
