Way back, someone asked "Was it based on an existing rear-engined car?" and got the answer "Yes". I was wondering what that car was.

Seems to be that I gave a wrong answer, and maybe I mislead the puzzle. Sorry about that.
I don't know which car was used to built Cacique Tayrona. I just know Dieter Herber used a Ford Taunus 4V for this car. Other cars that he built carried a Fiat engine and a VW engine.
