As the Clubman's Formula encouraged home builders there are hundreds of different cars.  Because I like the name, I'll guess at Haggispeed?

It's not a 750 but you're  getting much closer to the answer.

John Lancaster's 1172 cc special at Silverstone, 1966. Lancaster also raced the 998 cc 'Orva Special'. Was this an 1172 cc version of the same car?

You have found the car and the point is yours. I have lost my notes but from memory the car raced with an 1172 engine which disintegrated, and it was replaced with a Ford MAE and so presumably did not qualify for Formula 1172 races. It was the third iteration of the car and was known as Orva III.
