Not sure which edition you have. The 1960 edition is by Duncan Hamilton and Lionel Scott, with Foreword by Earl Howe. The 1990 edition includes minor revisions by Doug Nye and Foreword by Adrian Hamilton. The 2014 edition includes all of this, plus Foreword by Chris Evans and images by Geoffrey Goddard, Guy Griffiths, Jarrotts and Louis Klemantaski.

That's pretty comprehensive!
I have the 1960 edition, bought when I was able to watch Druncan (and others) racing, and it does credit Scott.
Your crediting of Jack Brabham with Innes Ireland is also to do with a later edition - my copy of AA&E is the (original) 1967 edition
