I really don´t know which car is this, but it could be Mazda, since it´s Japanese, so if you´re almost sure, please PM

I have no specific information about this car.  It resembles a Mazda RX500.

As the poster and no experts know, should this be promoted to the Pros?

7 years without any clues...  Finally, until today!   :cheer:

I am happy to find this mystery car which happens to be ~1985 MAD'S MR2 LangHeck built by Mad Sugiyama.

I attach not only extra photos showing unexpected long tail of it, but also google-translated description right here below:

Last time , there were only photos that I didn't understand, but how was this completed? MR2 Lang Heck, the fastest aiming special, created by the mad Mad Sugiyama. Let's play back the figure that won the exciting car award at the "3rd Tokyo Exciting Car Show" held this year!

...

Amazing tuned power in a breathtaking form!
MAD'S MR2 Lang Heck
The machine that was given excitement for both body shape and engine tuning was the MR2 Langhek, which was also created by Madhouse.

Overall height 1069mm, overall width 1665mm, total length 3925or4925mm. It is a shape that incorporates everything that can be considered as the fastest trial machine in Yatabe. A special body that seeks straight-line stability and lean airflow rather than getting downforce. That is really beautiful.

The front is sharper and the lines following the window are at the same angle. This is the technique used for racing cars. The side part goes from the front wheel arch to the air intake at the rear of the door, guides the air, and flows to the rear of the narrowed long tail. This long tail uses an expensive honeycomb material, and it is incredibly strong while being super lightweight. And fins that can be called vertical tails are attached to the upper part to improve high-speed straightness.

As for the door, attention is paid to details such as the gull wing door with the hinge position changed so as not to lose the incredible force at ultra high speeds.
